Go for it!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It needs to be performed un-accompanied, so no background music. But claps are a great way to keep a beat.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who can compete?<strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are 3 categories \u2013 primary school age, secondary school age and adults.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can compete as an individual, as a group, a school or a club.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A panel of judges will pick the top 3 from each category to compete in the final round.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The winner will be decided by a public vote on social media.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to compete:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Send a recording of yourself performing the chant to your local Menter Iaith including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mentrauiaith.cymru\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Ffurflen-Gofrestru-Chant.docx\">this form.<\/a> You can find a list and map of the Mentrau Iaith <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mentrauiaith.cymru\/dod-o-hyd-i-fenter\/\">here<\/a>, including contact details.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Need help with Welsh words and phrases? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mentrauiaith.cymru\/?p=6533&amp;preview=true\">Here\u2019s a list of footy terms <\/a>in Welsh, or contact your Menter Iaith for some advice on how to include some Welsh words into your chant.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why compete?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FAW are looking for new chants for the Red Wall to support Cymru, from home and from the stands.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Winners of each category will receive a special shirt signed by the Euro2020 squad. The composer of the most popular \u2018chant\u2019 will receive the chance to visit a squad training session.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Send your videos before the 12th of May.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The FAW will announce the winners on the 3rd of June, just in time for Euro2020!<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mentrauiaith.cymru\/?p=6529&amp;preview=true\">Have more questions?
