The majority of Mentrau Iaith have been established by a board of directors who lead the work of the enterprise on a voluntary basis. The mentrau regularly welcome new members to their boards and committees.
- Attend quarterly meetings
- Attend AGM
- Set budgets and oporetional plans
- Contribute ideas for the menter’s work
- As a board or committee member you may have a role such as Chair, Treasurer, Secretary or lead on a project that’s important to you.
As a board or committee member you will also have the opportunity to network with directors of other mentrau as part of regional meetings organised by Mentrau Iaith Cymru. The chairperson is also invited to attend the annual Mentrau Iaith Cymru Conference along with the Chief Officer to discuss important topics and network with the other mentrau throughout Wales.
