On Wednesday, 1st of June, two new Magi Ann apps were launched during a Magi Ann Party on Menter Iaith Sir y Fflint and Mentrau Iaith Cymru’s stall on the Eisteddfod field.

There are now 6 Magi Ann apps available to down load for FREE from the App Store and Play Store to smart phones and tablets, on both IOS and Android platform, with 52 simple stories.

Rhian Davies, Menter Iaith Sir y Fflint Communications Officer said:

“We are astounded by the response that has been since we launched the first Magi Ann app back in November 2014. We have now had over 38,750 downloads, which undeniably proves the great need for such resources to help parents and children learn to read through the medium of Welsh.”

Alaw Gritffiths from Tal-y-Bont, but originally from Mold said:

“My daughter, Lleucu, was over the moon to celebrate her fourth birthday with Magi Ann during the app launch! The apps are in constant use at our house, and are a great way for Lleucu to gain confidence and develop independence whilst forming words and learning to read in Welsh. Diolch Magi Ann!”
