In a special story and song session arranged by Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam for the pupils of Ysgol Bro Alun, Gwersyllt, on Friday the 9th of March between 1.30 and 2.00pm, Eluned Morgan, Minister for Welsh Language and Lifelong Learning will meet the popular character Magi Ann.

By now, Magi Ann has established herself as a favourite character among Welsh children, and her stories on six special apps have, and continue, to help children across Wales and countries all over the world to learn to read the Welsh language with their parents in a fun and exciting way.

In 2017, the Magi Ann apps won the National Lottery Award for the best education project and have now been downloaded over 150,000 times

The session at Ysgol Bro Alun will give the Minister the opportunity to see the app in action as an example of the work of the Menter in the area.
