Menter Môn project offering accomodation to key workers

Ciando

Due to the Coronavirus, many Health and Emergency Service workers need a temporary home. To help them find suitable accommodation, Menter Môn has created Ciando – a scheme to identify any accommodation available.

They are calling on homeowners in Anglesey and Gwynedd who are willing to register their empty houses and offer them free of charge to frontline workers.

Along with holiday cottages company Dioni, the Menter Iaith staff are helping to co-ordinate inquiries, ensuring that information reaches all workers in this sector of the service and support that’s available should they need it.

You can register with Ciando on the Menter Môn website.

The meaning of ‘ciando’? It’s a local term for going to bed, or ‘hitting the hay’!
